Barbie is known for her dynamism and adventurous spirit. There are many Barbie Fan clubs across the world.
But tragically, a 5yr Malaysian girl, who wished to have a Barbie doll for her birthday is missing from Jan9.
Sharlinie aka Nini, daughter of Suraya Ahmad, went missing just after she was not accepted to have three dolls on her birthday, falls on Jan30.
However, she was promised by her mother to buy one which can appear in new dresses.
It’s learnt that the little girl had been pestering for new doll for one month.
Suraya Ahmed said, Barbie doll is one of her favorite ones though she doesn’t have one.
When Nini saw her mom’s friend buying three such dolls she insisted on getting one for her and two for her sisters. But Suraya convinced her that they could not afford to buy it as it costs 40 Ringgits, which is an expensive figure for them.
But, however, she promised to buy one for Nini on her birthday and it would be share by three of them for playing.
Sherline’s parents planned to celebrate her birthday this year which was put off last year due to Chinese New Year.
All they want is Nini’s safe return. They still want to buy a Barbie Doll whether it is her birthday or not – as soon s they find their daughter back,.
In Taman Medan, near their house, the girl went missing when she was on way her home from a playground nearby.
